When the latest spooky season passes, it won’t mark the end for some Spirit Halloween stores, with the chain planning to convert some locations and keep them open for the holidays.

Spirit Halloween is getting into another holiday spirit. The popular seasonal chain says it will open 10 “Spirit Christmas” stores this fall, including three locations in New York state. One will be on Long Island in Bohemia, N.Y.; the other two will be in Upstate New York at the Colonie Center near Albany and the Chestnut Plaza in Poughkeepsie.
