James Webb attempted to eat 50 meat pies in 35 minutes at The Aussie Grind Provisions in Farmers Branch on Dec. 16, 2023. He stopped after eating 37 meat pies in 36 minutes, 22 seconds.

He admitted he tweeted a slice of the reddish, speckled meat. "When it's time for the aperitif, cognitive biases seem to have a field day … beware, then, of them," he played off in further tweets .
