Juniper plants are members of the cypress family ... northerly climates found in Montana, Alaska, North Dakota and Wyoming.

Juniper is from Anchorage, Alaska. They came from an Archaeology background before going into linguistics as a master's student at SFU. They're interested in language documentation and revitalization.
