EASTON, Maine — Route 1A from Mars Hill and north was closed to all traffic Tuesday morning, according to Maine State Police. Much of the road is covered in snow, police said in a social media post.

Totals across the state generally ranged from 5 to 10 inches, while some areas in Aroostook County got up to 16 inches.
