Manchester City take on Club Brugge in their final Champions League group game on Wednesday night but the build up to the game has been blighted by a fire outside of the Etihad Stadium

The blaze started shortly before 6pm, close to where the team had been due to enter the stadium at around 6.30pm.

Fire engulfed a merchandise stand at Machester City's stadium just hours before their Champions League match. Nobody was hurt in the blaze and the cause of the fire was not immediately clear. The game went ahead and Manchester City defeated Brugge 3-1.
