NBA playoffs tip off in earnest, eight teams will go head-to-head in this week's play-in tournament to determine the final spots.

Orlando and Golden State clinched the No. 7 seed in their respective conferences with victories in Tuesday's play-in tournament action. The Magic beat the Atlanta Hawks 120-95 in the Eastern Conference, while the Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies 121-116 in the Western Conference.

Jimmy Butler scored 38 points to lead the Warriors to a 121-116 win over a Grizzlies team that fought hard to the end. They will face Houston in the first round of the playoffs. Earlier, the Magic made quick work of the Hawks to advance to face the Celtics.
