A US military fighter jet crashed into the San Diego Harbor – but both pilots reportedly ejected to safety. The jet – an EA-18G Growler electric jet – smashed into the water around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, The War Zone reported.

Two pilots safely ejected from a military fighter jet before it crashed into San Diego harbour. The navy jet crashed into the water off Shelter Island shortly before 10.30am, San Diego Fire Department said. CCTV footage of the incident shared on social media appears to show the E/A-18G Growler jet nosediving into the water.
