Neymar has announced that he has completed a remarkable return to his boyhood club Santos in a post on social media. The forward shared an emotional video on X in which he revealed that he has decided to "sign the contract with Santos Futebol Clube".

NEYMAR HAS confirmed his return to his first club Santos, saying he had wished the move “to come true for a long time”. With the official announcement expected on Friday, the 32-year-old Brazil international — still the world’s most expensive footballer after his £200 million (€239 million) move to Paris St Germain in 2017 — said he could not “hold it until tomorrow”.

Neymar's decision to potentially return to Santos stems from a difficult period at Al-Hilal. Injuries hampered his consistency, leading to his exclusion from the Saudi Arabian league.
