WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered lower courts to review the case of the only woman on Oklahoma’s death row over concerns that prosecutors’ discussion of her sexual history rendered her trial unfair in the murder of her estranged husband.

The Supreme Court found an Oklahoma woman convicted of murdering her estranged husband can pursue a claim that prosecutors inappropriately focused on her sex life at trial.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Tuesday in favor of convicted murderer Brenda Andrew, the only woman on Oklahoma’s death row, ordering a lower court to review whether she got a fair trial in the murder of her husband considering prosecutors’ use of salacious details of her sexual history to convict her.
