The Royals’ Triple-A affiliate will have a rotation that includes two pitchers who are a combined 82 years old.

The Orioles signed right-hander Kyle Gibson to a one-year contract Friday, the club announced, reuniting with the veteran to reinforce their rotation less than a week from Opening Day.

The KC Royals rotation has been excellent in a hot start to 2024. And that’s without an injured pitcher who could join the group next year.
