Peter Allen has been a fixture on BBC 5 live since it launched on 28 March 1994 It is 20 years since the BBC launched a new rolling news-and-sport radio station, and 5 live was born.

Presenter Peter Allen has left Radio 5 live's Drive programme after 16 years in the chair. He will now present a new daytime programme on the station, every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am.
