Next, unscrew the Pitman arm's 15/16-inch-head retaining nut; you will probably need either a breaker bar or an impact wrench unless you are really pumped. Use a puller to remove the arm.
Install the Pitman arm on the gearbox and fasten with the new nut and lock washer provided. Connect the gearbox to the power steering pump with either hose kit for stock Ford pump applications.
To do that, most suspension companies have devised modifications to the ends of the system: the pitman arm and drag link at the steering box, and the steering arms at the spindles.
