The Porsche LMP1 completed its final test laps of the year on the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve near Portimão, Portugal. Testing will resume in early 2014.

Porsche still hasn't showed the LMP1 contender it is building for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2014 – in fact, there won't be any public eyeballs on it until the middle of 2013.

When Porsche takes on a racing program, it does so to dominate. It illustrated this with the 919 Hybrid, the LMP1 prototype it developed to mark its return to top-flight sports car racing in 2014.

While it might not be the Porsche Le Mans car everyone is talking about right now, with the prize winning 919 hybrid still being hot off the press, the LMP1-98 WSC-95 is still an iconic race car.
