Well known for fronting one of the wildest rock bands of the 1980s, Butthole Surfers' Gibby Haynes' was also the son of a much-loved children's TV presenter.

After the last issue of Search and Destroy, Vale and Ray worked together on another publication, RE/Search, which explored not just punk music, but wider topics like anthropology and surrealist art.
