ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– On Tuesday, the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles renewed the waiver to eliminate the engine compartment requirement of school bus driver’s road tests.

The auditor found that some school bus drivers lacked the required commercial driver's license and some were hired with unreported felony convictions.
