Kurt Whyte is often sent videos of people with what they think are "harmless tree snakes" but they're actually deadly eastern browns.

A man called a snake catcher last week after watching about six snakes slither into the mulch in his Sydney backyard.

"I later told them that these pythons are not that dangerous and are quite common in the area we live in ... are one of the largest snake species found in the Brisbane and Ipswich regions.
