Matt and Jeff Hardy had spent eight years away from WWE by the time WrestleMania 33 rolled around, so it was a major surprise when The New Day informed Enzo Amore and Big Cass, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, and Cesaro and Sheamus they would be the fourth team in a ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

The main event for one of the nights on the "WrestleMania 41" card was made official at the conclusion of "WWE SmackDown."
