Black Ops 6 reportedly cost Activision $700 million to develop, with Black Ops 3 and Modern Warfare 2019's budgets also revealed via court documents.

In a new report from Game File, journalist Stephen Totilo has shared the budgets of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Modern Warfare (the 2019 one), and Black Ops Cold War, all of which have reportedly been revealed by Activision 's head of creative for Call of Duty, Patrick Kelly, in a court filing.

For 2019's Modern Warfare, developed by Infinity Ward, the total cost of development was reportedly $640 million with 41 million copies sold. The last one is Black Ops Cold War from 2020. Treyarch and Raven Software's joint project reportedly took $700 million to develop and sold 30 million copies.
