Back in September, the Detroit Pistons added the veteran Lamar Stevens to the roster. The former Cleveland Cavaliers forward looked forward to getting another shot to compete in the NBA after spending time with multiple teams last year.

The last quarter-and-a-half was not quite as impressive – with Cleveland’s reserves combining for just 31 points after intermission and dropping the 108-92 decision in Detroit.

One rumor swirling around the NFL world is that some veterans could be heading elsewhere, including edge rusher Za'Darius Smith. There is speculation the veteran could go to the Detroit Lions, as they just lost their defensive star Aidan Hutchinson to a season-ending leg injury and could use a boost at the position.

Well geez, it's not very often that a player just comes out and says "hey! trade me over here," but that appears to be exactly what Browns' edge rusher Za'Darius Smith said to the Chronicle-Telegram this week when asked about the potential of being traded to a Super Bowl contender.
