Parents of a baby girl who died months after being born prematurely are suing an Orlando hospital, saying the facility tried to hide the truth about their daughter's death in the NICU, according to NBC affiliate WESH.

The parents of Jahxy Peets, a baby girl who was born prematurely and died months later, are suing an Orlando hospital, saying the facility tried to hide how their daughter’s neck was broken in the NICU.

It was just a very slow death,” said an attorney representing the parents of the baby, who was born prematurely in Florida.

A couple is suing Orlando Health’s Winnie Palmer Hospital, claiming an employee broke their baby’s neck. The NCAA Football Playing Rules Committee is actively “engaged” in examining Oregon's controversial play for possible action.

The lawsuit says the baby suffered a "debilitating spinal cord injury" which led to paralysis and an inability to breathe on her own.
