DETROIT -- Hyundai is telling owners of Nexo hydrogen fuel cell SUVs to park their vehicles outside and away from buildings as part of a recall due to an increased risk of fire. According to the Associated Press, the recall impacts 1,600 SUVs from the 2019 through 2024 model years.

Hyundai says a pressure relief device can break and cause a hydrogen leak in the vehicles, which could cause a fire even while the SUVs are parked.
