Julian Edelman and Tom Brady had a special connection for years with the New England Patriots and won three Super Bowls together, and the two appear to have remained close even with their playing days behind them.

Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski know Tom Brady better than most. Having been teammates with Brady on the New England Patriots and/or Tampa Bay Buccaneers for several years, though, the pair of popular Brady targets also had their moments of frustration with the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Speaking on his new podcast with Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman explained why he decided to not join Tom Brady in Tampa.

Unlike Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman finished his NFL career having played for only one NFL team: the New England Patriots. That came up during the first episode of Edelman and Gronkowski's "Dudes on Dudes" podcast.

While Brady was successful in getting Gronk and Antonio Brown over to Tampa Bay in a mini-Patriots reunion, his offer was rejected by Edelman. Even after their retirement, the NFL legend joked about how the receiver hasn’t hung his cleats for good and wishes to join Tampa Bay during an appearance on the 2021 NFL Draft Call.

Edelman's and Gronkowski's new podcast is titled, "Dudes on Dudes with Gronk and Jules," and is set to come out with new episodes every Thursday.
