Seminole County reached out to WFTV with some new info in regard to the announcement of the closing of the Seminole Towne Center. Officials state that the deal for the mall did not fall through, the sale is still planned to go through, and the mall’s closure is part of said deal.

The Seminole Towne Center is a prime piece of real estate right next to I-4, S.R. 46, and many other stores and homes. It holds a lot of promise, which is why Lessard says revitalizing it is a priority for Sanford this year.
