A number of areas across East and West Sussex remain affected by flooding after heavy rain over the weekend. The Met Office yellow warning for rain covering the county expired at 09:00 GMT on Monday.

Heavy rain has fallen across Sussex causing flooding and disruption to some travel services. A Met Office yellow weather alert and flood warnings are in place, including at Hellingly and Horsebridge on the Cuckmere and Bull Rivers, at Cowfold on the Adur and at Barcombe Mills on the Ouse.
