The daylight shooting occurred south of Atlantic Street. A 14-year old was shot and fatally wounded Sunday afternoon on South Capitol Street near the District’s southern edge, D.C. police said.

A teenage boy was killed in Southwest D.C., leading to the arrest of three teens after a robbery-related shooting.

Investigators later identified a 17-year-old boy as a suspect. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder in the second degree. A 16-year-old boy was also arrested in the case. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, however this charge has been upgraded to attempted murder in the second degree.
