Ice cream brands pledge to phase out artificial dyes

Dozens of ice cream manufacturers in the United States have pledged to eliminate artificial colors from their products by the end of 2027.

The voluntary move is by the International Dairy Foods Association. It's part of a push by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Kennedy says in the coming months, the government will release new dietary guidelines with more emphasis on dairy's role in children's health.
