Sam Feist, CNN’s longtime Washington bureau chief and senior vice president, is departing the network to lead the nonprofit public affairs channel C-SPAN, the networks announced Tuesday.

Sam Feist, who has served as CNN’s Washington bureau chief since 2011, will leave the network at the end of June to become the chief executive of the public affairs television network C‑SPAN.
