Freud’s son Frank Paul, creates sketches using ballpoint pens from Tesco that cost 21p each. Like his father, his work sells – though so far Frank’s earnings amount to just £500.

In November last year, Australian artist Josiah Alan Brooks posted a tutorial on YouTube, in which he was seen drawing 21 sketches at once using a horizontal rod that could hold multiple pens.
