What started out as a slugfest which the Sixers controlled turned into a Phoenix Suns victory on Monday night.

The 76ers were without their perennial All-Star center Joel Embiid, his backup Andre Drummond and their wise elder statesman, Kyle Lowry. The trio’s absence combined with poor shooting to lead to a 109-99 loss to the Phoenix Suns Monday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

Phoenix (16-18) was relatively healthy with only Royce O'Neale (left ankle sprain) out. Philadelphia (15-19) was missing Joel Embiid (left foot sprain), Andre Drummond (left toe sprain), Kyle Lowry (right hip soreness) and KJ Martin (left foot stress reaction).
