WALKER COUNTY, Ga (WDEF)- Walker County Republican Party reacts to the arrest of North Georgia State Senator Colton Moore on Thursday.

Georgia state Sen. Colton Moore (R) was arrested and transported to the Fulton County Jail on Thursday for attempting to enter the House Chamber to hear Gov. Brian Kemp’s (R) state address after being banned from the area last year.

Burns announced Friday afternoon that he would modify the ban to allow Moore, a Trenton Republican, to attend proceedings in the House when members of both chambers are present, such as when lawmakers heard from the governor Thursday.
