Michigan basketball's Dusty May doesn't want any fines, but he was absolutely perplexed by the refereeing in Sunday's win vs. Northwestern.
"We don’t really care where the Spartans are," Michigan basketball coach Dusty May said. "But I think it adds more interest to the game."
Michigan State (14-2) has won nine in a row under Tom Izzo, now in his 30th year on the job. The Spartans, ranked No. 16, clobbered Washington at home and won at Northwestern on Sunday (78-68) since the last poll came out.
After blowing a 16-point lead in their last outing against Ohio State, No. 11 Purdue (16-5, 8-2) came into their home building with bad intent, and the Wolverines were their victims. The Boilermakers jumped to a 13-2 lead to start the game and never looked back, delivering a 91-64 beatdown of No. 21 Michigan (14-5, 6-2) on Friday night.
Braden Smith, Trey Kaufman-Renn and Fletcher Loyer get a bulk of the credit, but Michigan coach Dusty May brought up some other names for why Purdue wins.
