Twenty-three inmates at the troubled federal jail in Brooklyn, New York, have been charged with crimes ranging from smuggling weapons in a Doritos bag to the stabbing last month of a man convicted in the killing of hip-hop legend Jam Master Jay.

The feds announced 25 arrests at the troubled MDC Brooklyn federal jail — including a half-dozen men charged in the brawl that left Jam Master Jay’s killer, Karl Jordan, repeatedly stabbed.
