ELMONT, NY -- Early in the first period against the Vegas Golden Knights, New York Islanders forward Bo Horvat flew up the left wall in the neutral zone before getting a strong look on goal.

Horvat scored a goal Tuesday in a 2-1 win over Vegas. Late in the first period, Horvat went in on a breakaway and scored with a backhand through Ilya Samsonov's five-hole to put the Isles up 1-0.
