Boil water advisory issued to Ephrata Area Joint Authority customers
Due to a serious water main break, a boil water notice has been issued to all Ephrata Area Joint Authority (EAJA) customers.
Boil water advisory in effect this weekend
A boil water advisory is in effect for parts of Lancaster County, after a water main break happened on Queen Street in Ephrata. The Ephrata Area Joint Authority advises residents in the following municipalities to boil their water for at least one minute or use bottled water.
Communities in northwestern Hamilton County under boil water advisory
Multiple communities in northwestern Hamilton County are under a boil water advisory until the end of January. According to Greater Cincinnati Waterworks, the advisory applies to all of Crosby Township, a small part of eastern Harrison Township, and households in western Colerain Township near East Miami River Road.
Areas of Johnson City Under Boil Water Advisory
Johnson City officials say parts of the village are under a Boil Water advisory due to a water main break. The impacted areas are as follows: Residents of these areas are asked to boil water prior to consumption, including drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation. You can also use bottled water if you have it.
Boil water advisory issued for part of Flint’s south side
The city has issued a boil water advisory for part of Flint’s south side because of a water main break. The boil water advisory covers an area from Dort Highway on the east to Red Arrow Road on the west and from Atherton Road on the north to Hemphill Road on the south.

The City of Washington has an extensive water leak on Highway 44 inside the city limits. Wilkes County EMA says there is a BOIL WATER ADVISORY for a minimum of 24 hours. City crews are working to turn the water off and repair the leak.
