The Brunswick Housing Authority voted Wednesday to allocate $760,000 from a capital improvement fund to rebuild five Mercer Altama units that were damaged in a 2021 fire.

On Monday, the county hired a company for the grading and clearing of the apartments site to prepare for construction.
