On Sunday, the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Masoud Esmailpour, 37, of Carmichael. The motorist collided with a van, which was driven by a man in his 20s, according to CHP.
The 37-year-old Carmichael man reportedly ran the red light while driving a sedan west on Madison Avenue, then a van crashed into him, the CHP said.
