Cracked glass is an accident waiting to happen, but it doesn't automatically mean you need to toss it. You can repair it at home with one simple trick.

Call it the crack heard round the world. The glass bridge suspended more than 590 feet in the air in one of China's national parks cracked last week and was closed for repairs.

Seal cracked glass with tape. The easiest, dumbest way to repair a cracked window is to grab some packing tape (or any strong clear adhesive tape) and slap a piece of it over the damaged pane.
