A slight chance of thunderstorms is expected to arrive this week in the High Desert and mountains of San Bernardino County.

Much of the Coachella Valley got about a tenth of an inch of rain on Sunday. There were higher rainfall totals in nearby mountains and due to a localized storm cell near the Living Desert.

Thunderstorms will die down Thursday evening, but a few more are expected to pop up Friday and into the weekend.

Thunderstorms, rain, and windy conditions are expected in the High Desert and mountains of San Bernardino County starting Thursday. Snow is anticipated above 5,000 feet in the local mountains.
