CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — An attorney for the boat operator who crashed into the Clearwater Ferry Sunday released a letter Tuesday explaining his client’s side of the events after the collision.

Two Louisiana men were killed in a Wednesday morning work boat explosion at a boat ramp at the J.D. Murphree Wildlife Management Area in Port Arthur, Texas, Channel 12 in Beaumont, Texas reports.
