A micromoon is set to occur Saturday as the full moon for April is set rise when the celestial body is at its farthest point from Earth.

Often called the pink moon, April’s full moon will rise this Saturday. The fourth full moon of the year, and the first of astronomical spring, it also happens to be a micromoon — the opposite of a supermoon. It will reach its peak at 8:22 p.m. Eastern time.
