The Salvation Army of Rock County hosted it's annual community-wide celebration, Rock the Block, Friday night with live music, food and family fun.

The Janesville Police Department recognized outstanding service among its ranks and community partners Thursday evening at its annual awards ceremony held at Rotary Gardens.
