AC Milan loanee, Joao Felix has explained his decision to join the Serie A club from Chelsea. Felix left the Blues to join Milan during the January transfer window on a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Joao Felix says he would be open to remaining with Milan beyond his half-season loan at the club. The 25-year-old joined Milan from Chelsea on deadline day on a temporary deal until the end of 2024-25, five months on from moving to the Premier League club from Atletico Madrid in a £44.5million ($58m) deal.

Joao Felix has made a bright start to life at AC Milan after he ‘pushed hard’ for the move from Chelsea during the winter transfer window. The Portugal international signed for the Blues on a permanent deal from Atletico Madrid over the summer but made little impact in the first half of the season.
