The painstaking recovery efforts continue for around 100 people still missing following the devastating July Fourth flooding along the Guadalupe River in central Texas.

Many of Texas' reservoirs and lakes are near full capacity, with some jumping more than 30 feet since early July.

KERRVILLE, Texas (AP) — Just three people remained missing — down from nearly 100 at last count — since Texas Hill Country was pounded by massive flooding on July 4, officials said Saturday.

At least 135 people have been killed in "catastrophic" flash flooding across Texas, while several others remain missing.
