Security preparations are in high gear in anticipation of New Year's Eve celebrations. Authorities are being extra vigilant after a driver drove into a crowd at a Christmas market in Germany.

Police say officers responded to a 911 call at 1691 East New York Ave. and found the man lying in the lobby with stab wounds to his neck and stomach.
