The photorealistic film tells the origin story of Simba’s father, Mufasa, and his brother Taka, later known as Scar. The story is told by Rafiki to Kiara, the daughter of Simba and Nala.

The trailer opens with young Simba and Nala walking through the Elephant Graveyard ... Banzai, and Ed. We hear Scar, voiced by Chiwetel Ejiofor, say... Scar: Life's not fair.

Simba and Nala have a daughter ... know is that Kovu is the son of Zira - a banished follower of the now-dead Scar. She plans to raise Kovu to overthrow Simba and become the king of the Pride ...

The story of the formation and ultimately broken bond of brotherhood between Mufasa and Scar is going to release on OTT.
