Nintendo Switch 2 preorders sold out within hours at most retailers on April 24, with Walmart emerging as the last retailer still offering both the standard $449 console and $499 Mario Kart World bundle with guaranteed launch day delivery.

The Nintendo Switch 2, which sold out its preorders the first day they were available, will come out June 5 with a $449.99 price tag.

The Nintendo Switch 2 finally became available to preorder in the US this week, and as expected, it looks sold out for now. That'll change over time, but it's unclear when, or how, and it's equally unclear what the constant tariff fluctuations might do to future game console pricing.
