Sony is bringing back those nostalgia-laced classic PlayStation console backgrounds for PS5 this week.

Sony has quietly added PS5 animated backgrounds to select users, and it features first-party PlayStation games.

After much fan demand, dynamic backgrounds have returned to the PlayStation 5, but it still leaves a lot to be desired, especially compared to Xbox.

Some include Astro Bot, Demon's Souls, Ghost of Tsushima, and Days Gone. It seems like Sony has quietly rolled out animated PS5 backgrounds, but only a few select owners have received them.
