Spec-wise it is nearly identical to the 7900X3D though the boost clock is down by 100 MHz at 5.5 GHz. Thus the Ryzen 9 9900X3D also has 140 MB of total cache with 128 MB of L3 (3D V-cache).

The 9900X3D didn't get nearly as much love in the panel, receiving no comparative tests, which is a bit worrying but not entirely surprising; last-gen's Ryzen 9 7900X3D was a 3-star chip at best ...
