All lanes are back open on the Almaden Expressway in San Jose following a multi-car crash earlier. One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the San Jose Police Department.

A multiple-vehicle crash in San Jose Tuesday afternoon has shut down a portion of the busy Almaden Expressway, police said.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she was involved in a crash that claimed the life another driver. The crash happened Sunday evening near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and West Broadway in Anaheim,
