Friday was the last day of classes for some San Jose students, and it will be the final day before some of their schools shut down for good.

A team of 6th and 7th graders from Windemere Middle School received two awards at the Destination Imagination Global Finals.

The school held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday to celebrate completion of phase two of its reconstruction.
